Withings has equipped the mirror with an AI voice assistant that offers real-time health feedback, personalized guidance, and even the potential for virtual consultations with healthcare providers.
French consumer electronics company Withings has revealed a concept device, the Omnia smart mirror, at CES 2025.
This futuristic healthtech innovation combines advanced health tracking, artificial intelligence (AI), and telehealth capabilities into a single device. Although still in development, the Omnia smart mirror aims to redefine personal health management.
The Omnia smart mirror is designed to go beyond traditional health monitoring tools. It features a base that measures weight, heart health, and metabolic health while seamlessly integrating data from other health trackers.
Withings has equipped the mirror with an AI voice assistant that offers real-time health feedback, personalized guidance, and even the potential for virtual consultations with healthcare providers.
The device also facilitates the transmission of health data directly to doctors for review, making it a holistic tool for proactive health management.
What sets Omnia apart from existing products is its ability to merge various health tech trends into one cohesive package.
While connected smart mirrors, such as Lululemon's Mirror, have offered video calls and media integration, Omnia takes a step further by incorporating advanced health metrics and AI-driven assistance.
Similarly, smart scales with capabilities such as EKG readings and body composition analysis have existed, but Omnia brings these functions together with telehealth support.
Currently, the Omnia smart mirror remains a concept product "in development," with no specific timeline or pricing details disclosed. Withings' previous CES announcements suggest that a commercial launch could take time if it happens at all.
Demos planned during CES 2025 may provide further insight into whether Omnia will materialize into a market-ready product or remain a concept reflecting health tech aspirations.
Withings has a history of innovation in the health tech space, offering smartwatches, connected blood pressure monitors, smart thermometers, and even a sleep tracker.
The company's prior innovations include FDA-cleared EKG-enabled ScanWatches and at-home urinalysis devices.
