This collaboration aims to foster innovation, exchange knowledge between nations, and support Indian healthcare startups with distribution and marketing.
VentureBlick, a global platform for healthcare innovation, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with T-Hub, a technology incubator and accelerator based in India to catalyze global entry of Indian healthcare innovators.
This move is aimed at fostering cross-border collaboration and advancing healthcare solutions.
The announcement was made during a conference held jointly by VentureBlick and T-Hub, emphasizing their shared commitment to facilitating the global expansion of Indian healthcare startups.
Highlighting the importance of cross-border collaboration in driving healthcare innovation, Chris Lee, founder & CEO, VentureBlick, said, “An idea born in India could revolutionize healthcare in Korea, China, or Europe. By forging stronger partnerships across borders and sectors, we uncover opportunities that move global healthcare innovation forward.”
The primary objective of this strategic collaboration is to establish an ecosystem that fosters innovation, facilitates knowledge exchange between nations, and provides distribution and marketing support for healthcare startups originating from India.
Dr Kailash Jialdasani, head of operations, South Asia, VentureBlick, expressed his vision, stating, “India imports 70-80% of its medical devices. We want to empower Indian entrepreneurs to create innovative healthcare technology not only for India but also for the world.”
T-Hub, known for its extensive network of mentors and a track record in driving innovation, aims to support Indian healthcare startups in their global expansion endeavors through this partnership with VentureBlick.
Leveraging T-Hub’s established framework, which focuses on the 6Ms (Man, Machine, Material, Method, Measurement, Mother Nature) and 2Ps (Processes, People), the collaboration seeks to provide startups with the necessary resources and guidance for scaling their innovations globally.
The comprehensive suite of services offered, including medical validation, clinical trials, market mapping, regulatory approvals, and go-to-market strategies, promises to enable healthcare startups in India to navigate the complexities of cross-border expansion with confidence and efficiency.
Sharing thoughts, Wing Commander (Retd) Anthony Anish, COO, T-Hub, said, “Through our partnership with VentureBlick, we aim to provide Indian startups with the necessary resources to stay at the frontier of cutting-edge technology and support to scale their innovations globally.”
In line with their collaborative efforts, VentureBlick is set to launch Discovery, a healthtech innovation platform.
This platform will serve as a hub for innovators, physicians, investors, distributors, and industry experts to come together and advance healthcare innovation.
Indian innovators will gain access to the global healthcare community through discovery, further facilitating their growth and impact on a worldwide scale.
The partnership between VentureBlick and T-Hub promises a step towards promoting cross-border collaboration and empowering Indian healthcare startups to make a global impact.
In a similar development, just days back, the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP), recognized as India’s premier not-for-profit enabler organization in the deep tech innovation space, joined hands with Indegene to help early-stage life sciences startups accelerate technology innovation, product development, and go-to-market.
This multi-year partnership will entail Indegene providing financial assistance, mentorship from specialized experts, and a digital service suite to bolster C-CAMP’s efforts in nurturing at least 5-7 early-stage deep-science startups within a comprehensive ecosystem.
