Utilizing the expertise of the Mayo Clinic supply chain, Surgence seeks to transform massive amounts of disparate data into actionable information.
Surgence, a cloud-based digital platform developed by Concordance Innovations, a subsidiary of Concordance Healthcare Solutions, has collaborated with Mayo Clinic to integrate Surgence into its digital supply chain.
This partnership aims to link trading collaborators' supply chains within a secure, agnostic, cloud-based platform.

Per the deal, Surgence seeks to offer near real-time visibility upstream and downstream, facilitating more informed, proactive decision-making.
Further, Surgene will leverage Mayo Clinic’s expertise in the supply chain to transform massive amounts of disparate data into actionable information.
Additionally, the cloud-based digital platform embeds alerts and workflows into applications, integrating insights with actions to streamline order management, enhance predictive forecasting, and unlock new organizational value.

Recently, Mayo Clinic collaborated with Zipline, a drone delivery and logistics company.
Per the agreement, Mayo Clinic aimed to utilize Zipline's Platform 2 (P2) drone system for delivering medications and supplies directly to patients' residences from its clinic sites in Jacksonville, Florida, and Rochester, Minnesota. Zipline's autonomous drones, known for their zero-emission capabilities, facilitate swift delivery of essential medical items.
In April, an AI-powered stethoscope received FDA clearance for its advanced algorithm designed to predict heart failure. The project is a collaborative effort between Mayo Clinic researchers and the healthtech startup Eko Health. Mayo Clinic contributed the algorithm, while Eko Health developed the hardware.
