Sterling Accuris Diagnostics Partners VPL Diagnostic to Strengthen Position in Allergy Testing

With this alliance, Sterling Accuris Diagnostics will be able to enhance and expand its diagnostics, medical, and healthcare service offerings, as well as expand its customer base.

Ahmedabad-based Sterling Accuris Diagnostics, a chain of NABL-accredited pathology laboratories, has entered into an alliance with VPL Diagnostic, a specialised allergy testing provider based in Ahmedabad. 

With this alliance, Sterling Accuris Diagnostics will be able to enhance and expand its diagnostics, medical, and healthcare service offerings, as well as expand its customer base.

Rajiv Sharma, MD of Sterling Accuris Diagnostics, commented on the alliance, saying, "Sterling Accuris offers a comprehensive test menu, covering everything from basic haematology to advanced genetics. VPL Diagnostic, with its expertise in allergy testing and a client base of over 500 Pan India, allows us to expand our offerings to their clients with high-end diagnostic services beyond allergy testing."

Commenting on the same, Ankush Gupta, CEO of Sterling Accuris Diagnostics, added, "According to research by Data Bridge Model, the Indian Allergy market has seen a steady growth, with an expected CAGR of 10.9% from 2022 to 2029. Our partnership with VPL Diagnostic aims to harness our shared strengths for robust growth in this market."

On the other hand, VPL Diagnostic is a specialised laboratory offering ImmunoCAP and ELISA allergy testing for over a decade. Their advanced testing facilities cater to various allergy tests, including food, drugs, and inhalants. 

In addition to allergy testing, VPL Diagnostic provides an extensive pathology test menu and continuously invests in enhancing its capabilities to remain competitive.

Talking on the alliance, Nirvi Shah, head of business operations at VPL Diagnostic, explained, "Our combined efforts will focus on introducing Microarray-based allergy testing and food intolerance, making VPL Diagnostic a comprehensive destination for allergy testing."
