SRV Hospitals Unveils AI Cath Lab in its 5th Hospital in Nashik

SRV Hospitals has launched the city's first AI-enabled cath lab in its fifth newly inaugurated hospital in Nashik.

The technology will assist healthcare professionals with intelligent imaging capabilities, advancing heart healthcare delivery and diagnostic accuracy.

This move aligns with the hospital's objective of offering personalised patient care by offering the latest technologies and integrated healthcare.

Sharing his views, Dr Abhay Vispute, founder & director of SRV Hospitals, said, 'œWe firmly believe in empowering our communities with knowledge to lead healthier lives. Towards this thought, we will continue SRV's tradition of communal CPR training and health awareness initiatives. Nashik is a healthcare hub and our mission is to elevate the existing standards of healthcare in the city through awareness, innovation, compassion, and excellence.'

SRV Hospitals in Nashik serves as a tertiary care multispecialty facility. Along with 100-bed facilities, it also includes a 19-bed ICU, ICCU and Surgical ICU, providing it with the capacity to effectively manage a wide range of complex and chronic diseases. 

Functioning as a tertiary centre, the hospital offers a full range of major medical specialities, with key areas of proficiency encompassing Critical Care, Orthopedics, Cardiology, General and minimal Access Surgery, Pulmonology, Neurology, Oncology, Urology, Nephrology, and more.

Owing to AI's popularity, many hospitals and health institutions are rapidly adapting to the evolving needs. For instance, AIIMS, Delhi has expressed its keen interest in collaborating with IITs and IIMs to introduce AI, and drone-based healthcare services,  to drive technological advancement in patient care and hospital management. 

Further, the adoption of AI-powered solutions such as AushadAI is streamlining operations in the pharmaceutical industry, automating management processes, reducing labour costs, enhancing warehouse capabilities, and minimising the risk of medication expiration through digital tracking and distribution.It further went on to leverage the power of AI in complex surgeries as well. For instance, an 83-year-old man in New Delhi whose life was saved through a sophisticated gallbladder surgery conducted with AI technology at Apollo Hospitals, Delhi. India has come a long way in embracing change and incorporating modern technology to deliver better healthcare with digital solutions.
