Siemens Healthineers unveiled several innovative systems to enhance diagnostic accuracy and efficiency across various healthcare settings.
Siemens Healthineers has presented its latest diagnostic imaging solutions at the 23rd Asian Oceanian Congress of Radiology (AOCR) 2025 in Chennai.
The event, organized by the Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry chapter of the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (IRIA), showcased advancements in imaging technology.
Siemens Healthineers unveiled several innovative systems to enhance diagnostic accuracy and efficiency across various healthcare settings.
One of the key highlights was the unveiling of the MAGNETOM Flow 1.5T MRI, designed to reduce helium usage while incorporating advanced AI features for faster and more precise scans.
This MRI system aims to enhance operational efficiency and reduce reliance on critical resources like helium, benefiting healthcare providers and patients.
The SOMATOM Pro Pulse Dual Source CT scanner was also showcased. This scanner caters to patients with high heart rates or limited breath-hold capacity and aims to enhance the overall patient experience while improving diagnostic accuracy in challenging clinical scenarios.
Siemens Healthineers also introduced the MULTIX Impact E, a locally manufactured digital X-ray system for secondary care facilities. This system combines high-quality imaging with low radiation exposure, enhancing safety and efficiency in clinical settings.
In the ultrasound segment, Siemens Healthineers showcased two key systems: Acuson Maple and Acuson Sequoia.
The Acuson Maple, a portable AI-powered ultrasound, is designed to meet diverse clinical requirements. At the same time, the Acuson Sequoia offers advanced tools for liver and musculoskeletal imaging to improve diagnostic accuracy.
