This collaboration aims to broaden access to AI in the Asia-Pacific region, leveraging Qure.ai’s imaging solutions to enhance diagnostics and healthcare outcomes.
Qure.ai, an AI-driven healthcare solutions provider, has partnered with Roche Diagnostics Asia Pacific in the Startup Creasphere APAC – Batch Four initiative.
This collaboration aims to broaden access to AI in the Asia-Pacific region, leveraging Qure.ai’s imaging solutions to enhance diagnostics and healthcare outcomes.
Startup Creasphere, founded by Roche in 2018, is one of the world’s largest hubs for digital health innovation and will facilitate the expansion of AI in APAC healthcare settings.
The partnership will focus on integrating Qure.ai’s deep-learning imaging tools with Roche’s diagnostic expertise.
Together, they aim to advance detection and clinical confidence, particularly addressing cardiovascular and lung diseases in the region.
This project also involves a pilot to validate AI applications in diverse healthcare environments, supporting radiologists in prioritizing critical cases.
“Joining forces with Roche and Startup Creasphere accelerates our goal of transforming healthcare through AI. This collaboration not only extends our impact across APAC but also pushes the potential of AI in diagnostics, ultimately supporting clinicians and improving patient care,” said Prashant Warier, Co-Founder and CEO of Qure.ai.
Alfred Chng, APAC Innovation Manager at Roche, highlighted the initiative’s focus on early disease detection and enhanced patient outcomes, emphasizing co-creation with Qure.ai to develop impactful solutions for healthcare professionals across APAC.
Founded in 2016 by Prashant Warier, Qure.ai utilizes AI technology in over 3,000 imaging sites across 90 countries to assist in detecting diseases such as tuberculosis, lung cancer, and stroke.
Qure.ai develops AI tools to enhance accessibility and affordability in radiology and healthcare coordination. Their technology assists radiologists in promptly evaluating scans, allowing for a more efficient and focused diagnosis. Many of its AI-based diagnostic tools have received clearance from US and EU regulators.
Startup Creasphere, on the other hand, was founded by Roche and Plug and Play and has facilitated over 90 pilot projects with Roche since 2018.
The program operates in Europe, the U.S., and APAC, bringing startups, corporates, and healthcare players together to co-create impactful digital health innovations.
