Pune-based health-tech startup, FlexifyMe, dedicated to helping individuals manage chronic pain, has successfully raised funds from ah! Ventures Angel Platform.

The recent capital infusion aims to propel the company's growth, having already achieved a remarkable 5X expansion in the past 12 months. The funding, supported by Flipkart Ventures GSF, iHub Anubhuti, Chandigarh Angels (CAN), Venture Catalyst, and various individual investors, will play a pivotal role in advancing the company's trajectory.

In a statement, FlexifyMe's cofounder, Manjeet Singh, highlighted the company's commitment to transforming the lives of people suffering from chronic pain with technology.

Singh stated, "This funding takes us a significant step closer to achieving that goal."

The funds secured will expedite the development of the artificial intelligence (AI) motion coach, with a particular focus on making it accessible in local languages. Furthermore, FlexifyMe aims to broaden its platform's outreach to the Middle East, North Africa (MENA), and North American regions.

Commenting on the same, Mukul Jain, deal lead at ah! Ventures said, "This round will help the company penetrate further into other geographies and build its product. We are extremely positive about the prospects of the company and believe that there is tremendous scope for scaling it further."

Founded in October 2021, FlexifyMe seeks to revolutionise traditional physiotherapy by harnessing the capabilities of AI motion tracking for musculoskeletal disorder management, including issues such as back pain, spondylitis, arthritis, and knee pain.

FlexifyMe had previously secured $1 million in funding led by Flipkart Ventures. The utilisation of these funds was directed towards enhancing the AI motion coach and making it available in local languages, a move crucial for expanding the startup's reach in the MENA and North American regions.

This funding round is anticipated to significantly contribute to FlexifyMe's growth, aligning with its impressive 5X expansion over the last 12 months. GSF, iHub Anubhuti, Chandigarh Angels (CAN), Venture Catalyst, and OneCapital were prominent contributors to this funding initiative.

Also, Bengaluru-based Peptris Technologies, for instance, recently secured $1 million in Pre-Seed funding to advance AI-driven solutions in drug development, focusing on novel therapies for undruggable targets in oncology, inflammation, and rare diseases.

This fresh capital injection will empower Peptris Technologies to scale up its efforts, expand its team, and explore new applications in drug discovery, including antibody-drug conjugates, vaccines, and COVID-19 therapies.
