The program is assisted by a predictive algorithm that records an individual's heath status and makes predictions about potential health risks, alongside the individualization of every single check. ProHealth will be a first-of-its-kind, comprehensive healthcare program, fueled by pHRA (personalized Health Risk Assessment), and empowered by artificial intelligence.
Individuals will have the liberty to digitally access a health risk assessment. The individual will receive a customized set of tests that they can take at any Apollo facility close to them after completing the assessment. They can likewise have a consultation with health mentors who will help to change and modify their ways of life accordingly, in view of the outcomes.
Apollo Hospitals stated that it is of the firm belief that performing a slew of tests is not always an efficient method for addressing the problem at its source. They further added, for instance, there is a strong data-driven connection between diabetes, heart disease, and obstructive sleep apnoea, as well as depression and weight-related comorbidities.
These correlations cannot be used in a generic health check's diagnosis. The firm expressed that this is where genuine prediction and personalisation comes in, framing the premise of Apollo ProHealth. They delivered a report called 'Health of the Nation 2023' around the same time, which featured the development and pervasiveness of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in the country. Patients who had visited Apollo hospitals throughout India served as the basis for this study.
The program is curated and conceptualized by Apollo's experts and pioneers in preventive healthcare based on Apollo's experience and knowledge gained from more than 20 million health checks. With actionable health analytics, ProHealth enables individuals and businesses to identify and eliminate health risks, leading to happier, healthier lives.
