A humanoid robot named RIA was unveiled at the 3rd CII Digital Health Summit in Delhi last week.
The AI-powered robot developed by Bengaluru-based Machani Robotics showed impressive skills in voice and speech recognition. The ChatGPT powered humanoid can answer general medical queries and can be a bedside assistant for palliative care.
In this interaction, we speak to RIA to understand her capabilities. We also spoke to the Senior Director, of Special Projects, Machani Robotics to understand the process involved in developing RIA. CII Digital Health Summit themed 'Leveraging AI for Improving Health Outcomes,' was organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) here in the national capital on Friday.
The event brought together key stakeholders from the healthcare industry, government, and technology sectors to explore the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare.
