Dr. Lakshmi Jagannathan, CEO of IIIT Bangalore Innovation Center, was warmly welcomed at the DHN HealthTech Innovation Challenge as a guiding force behind the initiative. Her vision helped inspire the challenge to support and nurture startups poised to disrupt the healthcare industry.
With over 12 years of experience in healthcare innovation, Dr. Lakshmi highlighted the unique challenges faced by healthcare startups, including solution validation, scaling, and funding. "When DHN approached us with this idea, it felt like music to my ears. This challenge is building crucial bridges between corporate hospitals, mentors, and innovators," she shared.
Assuring full support from IIITB, Dr. Lakshmi emphasized that this was just the beginning. "We have all the right ingredients, and now it’s about execution. We’re here to run alongside you and make it happen."
