Pinnacle Industries, known for its automotive interiors and specialty vehicles, has launched its latest emergency medical vehicle, the AD-Gen Ambulance, to elevate the standards of medical transportation in India.
The AD-Gen Ambulance is a semi-premium variant to improve India's ambulance fleet. Per the company, this vehicle can be built and converted on various platforms, making it versatile and accessible.
Regarding the development, Arihant Mehta, president at Pinnacle Industries, said, “Our goal with the AD-Gen Ambulance is to provide high-quality yet accessible emergency medical services nationwide.”
The AD-Gen Ambulance comes equipped with several advanced features to improve emergency response and patient care. Its digital oxygen system allows for precise monitoring and includes programmable alarms for better management of oxygen levels.
Additionally, a dedicated drug cabinet enhances medication accessibility and protection, reducing the risk of delays and errors during emergencies.
Interior lighting in the AD-Gen is adjustable to ensure optimal visibility without causing glare, which is especially crucial during nighttime operations.
Further, the integrated electronic systems provide streamlined access to vital signs, communication systems, and navigation tools, including a control screen, mobile data terminal (MDT), and digital oxygen delivery system (ODS) control panel.
This integration is designed to reduce distractions for medical personnel, enabling them to focus on patient care.
Additionally, these monitors provide real-time data to paramedics and EMTs, enabling them to assess the patient's condition and intervene promptly if necessary.
“We introduced the AD-Gen ambulance to address the pressing need for cost-effective yet high-quality medical transportation solutions that meet stringent standards for governments, private healthcare providers, NGOs, healthcare centers, residential societies, and commercial workspaces across India,” Mehta explained.
According to him, financial challenges often hinder the enhancement of ambulance services. Limited funding restricts the ability to upgrade fleets, acquire advanced medical equipment, and implement necessary technological innovations.
The AD-Gen Ambulance aims to meet the country's diverse and growing medical transportation needs by integrating advanced technology.
