Designed to improve AI-driven efficiency, the new system extends across the Philips MRI portfolio, providing more precise and confident diagnoses.
Philips has introduced SmartSpeed Precise, an advanced MRI solution powered by dual artificial intelligence (AI) engines.
The latest innovation builds on the company’s compressed Sense and SmartSpeed technologies to deliver faster scans with enhanced image quality.
Designed to improve AI-driven efficiency, the new system extends across the Philips MRI portfolio, providing more precise and confident diagnoses.
The Dutch medtech company plans to debut SmartSpeed Precise this week at the 2025 European Congress of Radiology (ECR 2025), alongside the latest MR Workspace software and the helium-free 1.5T BlueSeal MR scanner.
According to Philips, SmartSpeed Precise enables scans up to three times faster than previous models. The dual-AI engine enhances image sharpness by 80%, improving visualization for more accurate diagnoses.
Integrated with the latest MR Workspace software, the technology features a zero-click workflow, reducing the need for manual intervention and streamlining operations for radiologists.
Philips has also introduced Smart Reading, a cloud-based, AI-driven reporting solution designed to improve data-driven decision-making.
These AI-powered capabilities optimize MRI efficiency and support radiologists in delivering precise results more efficiently. Moreover, Philips has incorporated its helium-free BlueSeal technology across its MRI portfolio.
“By integrating high-performance AI engines across our entire portfolio, we are revolutionizing MRI efficiency while reducing environmental impact,” said Ioannis Panagiotelis, Global Business Leader for MRI at Philips.
“These innovations will ensure greater access to high-quality imaging worldwide while offering more sustainable, cost-effective operations for healthcare providers.”
