The CT 5300, equipped with cutting-edge AI features, is designed to support various clinical applications, including cardiology, oncology, neurology, and emergency care.
Royal Philips, a global leader in health technology has launched AI-enabled CT 5300 for Advanced Clinical Applications
The tech unveiled at the 23rd Asian Oceanian Congress of Radiology (AOCR) 2025 is equipped with cutting-edge AI features designed to support various clinical applications, including cardiology, oncology, neurology, and emergency care.
The Philips CT 5300 offers a 128-slice system with a nano-panel detector optimized for AI use. With AI-driven features such as reconstruction, cardiac motion correction, and smart workflows, the CT 5300 enables faster, more accurate diagnoses.
"The advanced capabilities of the CT 5300 aim to enhance diagnostic accuracy, streamline workflows, and increase system uptime. This system is engineered to assist clinicians in managing complex cases and high patient volumes efficiently, helping healthcare providers deliver superior care," said Bharath Sesha, Managing Director of Philips Indian Subcontinent.
The CT system is designed for diverse clinical settings, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in healthcare environments. Its virtual collaboration tools also enable real-time clinical and technical support, addressing the growing challenges of staff shortages and increased patient caseloads.
Alongside the CT 5300, Philips showcased its innovative MRI with BlueSeal technology, marking a significant step in MRI development.
The BlueSeal magnet, which eliminates the need for helium, significantly reduces costs and mitigates the operational challenges traditionally faced by MRI facilities. This MRI system was presented as part of Philips' broader portfolio of AI-driven solutions to improve patient care efficiency.
Sesha further emphasized, "At Philips, we are focused on leveraging Artificial Intelligence to make healthcare more accessible and equitable. Through innovations like the CT 5300 and BlueSeal MRI, we are addressing healthcare providers' challenges, ensuring that high-quality care is available even in the most demanding environments."
