Indore-based medtech startup Perkant Tech has raised INR 6.6 Cr in seed funding to develop further and expand its AI-enabled multi-disease prognostic health platform.

YourNest Venture Capital led the round. It included contributions from the Atal New India Challenge under NITI Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission (INR 1 crore), Villgro Foundation (INR 35 lakh), and Sanchi Connect (INR 25 lakh) as part of the Velocity fast-track funding program.

Founded in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic by Lokant Jain and Saniya Jeswani, Perkant Tech provides an AI-integrated medical device that supports real-time health screening and monitoring.

The platform is intended to assist healthcare providers and individuals by offering predictive health insights, focusing on non-invasive primary and preventive care.

Focus on R&D &Market Launch

Perkant Tech plans to utilize the new funding to improve its AI capabilities, strengthen its R&D, and prepare for commercial launch. The capital will also support technology upgrades, software integration, and customer acquisition strategies.

Following pilot studies with healthcare partners, the startup is now working towards scaling its platform for broader deployment in both urban and rural settings.

The startup is developing a suite of tools aimed at screening for various health conditions and monitoring ongoing health status. Its goal is to support healthcare delivery in areas with limited medical resources and personnel.

Patent-Backed Health Monitoring Device

Perkant Tech’s core product is Abhay Parimiti, a portable AI-powered device designed to assess key health parameters within 60 seconds. The system evaluates physiological and psychological indicators and is intended for primary care settings.

The platform aligns with India’s National Digital Health Mission (NDHM) and aims to enable early-stage detection of conditions that typically require invasive diagnostic procedures.

Current focus areas include cardiac and respiratory health, with plans to expand into additional disease-specific assessments and recovery monitoring.

“This investment supports our objective of making prognostic healthcare more accessible,” said Saniya Jeswani, Co-founder and CEO.

“We are building tools to deliver timely health information, particularly in settings with limited access to traditional healthcare services.”

Dr Vivek Mansingh, General Partner at YourNest, added, “Perkant Tech’s approach addresses the growing demand for affordable health screening tools. The combination of AI and scalable design makes it suitable for wider healthcare delivery networks.”

Perkant Tech intends to further its research and improve its multi-disease prognostic capabilities, focusing on early-stage identification and monitoring of chronic conditions.

The startup is also exploring integration with digital health infrastructure to ensure seamless data flow and support for healthcare workers.
