The state-of-the-art hospital will provide multispeciality care with modern technology and advanced equipment.
The Ludhiana facility will be part of Paras Health's broader expansion strategy. With its addition, the chain will operate 10 hospitals, covering regions in North India, Bihar, and Jharkhand. Paras Health plans to increase its total bed capacity from 2,135 beds (as of March 31, 2024) to 2,935 beds by March 31, 2029.
The hospital will offer a range of clinical specialties, including cardiac sciences, oncology, neurosciences, gastrosciences, orthopedics, and joint replacement. It will also house liver, kidney, and bone marrow transplant programs, ensuring tertiary care services are accessible to Punjab residents.
Speaking about the new project, Dr Dharminder Nagar, MD, Paras Health, said, “We are now looking to expand our services further in North India with this new 500-bed hospital in Ludhiana. I am especially glad to bring tertiary care to the people of Punjab, ensuring they receive advanced medical treatment close to home.”
Paras Health's existing network of hospitals already caters to a diverse patient base, providing access to high-quality healthcare across multiple states. The addition of this facility aligns with its commitment to addressing the growing demand for advanced healthcare services in underserved regions.
