Paras Health has appointed Usha Rajeev as an Independent Director.
Rajeev brings experience from her previous role at Price Waterhouse, India, a member firm of Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) International, where she served as a Partner for over 19 years until her retirement in 2018.
Her extensive background in governance, audit, and risk management is expected to enhance the board's oversight capabilities and support Paras Health's strategic objectives.
Dr Dharminder Nagar, MD, Paras Health, expressed his enthusiasm about the new appointment.
"It is a pleasure to have Usha Rajeev join the Paras Health Board as an Independent Director. I am sure that with her expertise in audit and risk management, she will significantly contribute to achieving our objectives by strengthening the right checks and balances," he stated.
Rajeev holds a bachelor's degree in commerce (honors) from the University of Delhi, SRCC. She is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a graduate of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.
Her appointment is anticipated to strengthen Paras Health's commitment to governance and strategic growth.

Recently, Gleneagles Healthcare India appointed Anurag Yadav, its CEO, as the new chairman of the Board for Gleneagles Hospital Parel, Mumbai. This hospital is one of the six under the Gleneagles network in India.
