Oura Advisor’s “Memories” feature recalls past conversations and tracks long-term trends, refining guidance over time to enable personalized, continuous support.
Finnish healthtech company Oura, known for its smart fitness tracker Oura Ring, has introduced Oura Advisor, an AI-powered feature designed to offer personalized health guidance based on biometric data.
The feature, which leverages generative AI, was first introduced in beta through Oura Labs and has now been fully integrated into the Oura App, marking a significant step in the company’s AI-driven approach to health tracking.
During the beta phase, over 60% of users engaged with Oura Advisor multiple times per week, with nearly 20% using it daily.
The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. 60% of users reported that the feature helped them better understand their health metrics, while 56% stated it assisted them in applying this knowledge to improve their well-being.
Oura highlights the uniqueness of its AI integration, stating that Oura Advisor does not rely on generalized averages but rather tailors its guidance based on each user’s individual biometrics.
The system is backed by more than 25 on-staff Ph.D.s, along with years of scientific research and validation.
A key innovation in Oura Advisor is the “Memories” feature, which enables the system to recall past conversations and detect long-term trends.
This allows for a more personalized and continuous support experience as the AI builds upon previous interactions to refine its guidance.
“We’ve been able to learn from real members how they interact with it, what value they gain, and how we can improve the experience,” Oura stated.
“The beta testing phase demonstrated that users responded positively to the approach, finding significant value in the feature.”
Beyond personalized coaching, the full version of Oura Advisor introduces a revamped chat experience, complete with data visualizations, trend analysis, and dynamic topic suggestions.
The AI is also designed to interpret long-term data and adjust its tone dynamically based on user preferences, ensuring a customized and engaging experience.
Oura has positioned AI integration as a core aspect of its future strategy, aligning with the broader trend in wearable health technology.
Competitors such as Apple, Garmin, and Whoop have also incorporated AI-driven features into their health-tracking solutions to enhance user experience and insights.
Oura describes Oura Advisor as a breakthrough in AI-driven wellness. It combines real-time biometric tracking, scientific validation, and generative AI to create an actionable and personalized health experience.
“What differentiates Oura Advisor is the combination of generative AI with real biometric data, ongoing scientific validation, and a focus on individual experience,” the company noted.
“It’s not just about information—it’s about making that information relevant and actionable for each person.”
As part of its expansion strategy, Oura has also been investing in medical research and strengthening its retail partnerships, reinforcing its commitment to innovation in the wearable health space.
