This facility is designed to provide healthcare professionals, researchers, and academic institutions with hands-on experience with Nikon's advanced microscopy solutions.

Nikon India, a subsidiary of Nikon Corporation, inaugurated India’s first experience center dedicated exclusively to its healthcare product range at its Gurgaon headquarters.

This facility is designed to provide healthcare professionals, researchers, and academic institutions with hands-on experience with Nikon's advanced microscopy solutions.

The center will also focus on skill development through microscopy workshops and training sessions.

Strengthening India’s Scientific Research Landscape

With the launch of this healthcare-focused experience center, Nikon India aims to elevate the country's standards of research and diagnostics by offering direct access to its healthcare technologies.

Sajjan Kumar, MD of Nikon India, said, “Launching India’s first experience center dedicated to healthcare technology reaffirms our commitment to supporting scientific research and pathological clinical communities with world-class solutions. This facility will serve as an important touchpoint where professionals can explore and experience our advanced healthcare products firsthand before making informed purchasing decisions.”

The center will play a critical role in skill development, emphasizing enhancing knowledge around the latest microscopy technologies.

It aims to benefit healthcare professionals and researchers, helping them better understand how to integrate Nikon’s solutions into their work, whether in academic research, clinical diagnostics, or medical advancements.

Showcasing Advanced Microscopy Technologies

At the center, Nikon is showcasing its flagship Confocal Microscope System AX R with NSPARC, which is noted for its extensive field of view (25mm) on both inverted and upright microscopes.

Other prominent products include the Digital Imaging Microscope ECLIPSE Ui and the Smart Imaging System ECLIPSE Ji. These technologies support various applications, from education and clinical research to complex drug discovery processes.

Launching this experience center is part of Nikon’s broader strategy to expand its healthcare division in India. The company is targeting a 300% growth in its healthcare business unit by the end of this fiscal year, driven by direct operations that began in April 2022.

Nikon expects the center to boost its footprint in the Indian microscopy market by providing researchers and healthcare professionals with access to advanced microscopy systems that support innovative approaches in life sciences.

Kumar highlighted that the center's opening marks a significant step in Nikon’s efforts to bolster the healthcare market in India. He commented, “We believe this initiative will help elevate the standards of scientific research and pathology across the country.”

In addition to its healthcare products, Nikon India distributes and services a range of biological microscope solutions, as well as its imaging products, including mirrorless cameras and sports optics.

Its comprehensive lineup of biological microscopes supports various fields, from education to cutting-edge research, helping drive life science innovations through high-quality observation and analysis tools.
