BeeVee aims to improve treatment outcomes through AI-driven VR therapy, using adaptive exercises that help retrain the brain to enhance vision.

Bengaluru-based healthtech startup NeuraSim Health, in collaboration with QWR, a fabless OEM XR hardware manufacturer, has developed BeeVee, India’s first AI-powered VR wearable designed for amblyopia treatment.

Recently featured on Shark Tank India, BeeVee provides a non-invasive alternative to traditional vision therapy and is now available for home-based treatment across India.

Amblyopia, commonly known as lazy eye, affects vision development in children and, if untreated, can lead to long-term impairment.

Global cases of amblyopia are projected to reach 175.2 million by 2030, making it a significant cause of childhood vision disorders.

Conventional treatments, such as eye patching, often face compliance issues and limited effectiveness.

BeeVee aims to improve treatment outcomes through AI-driven VR therapy, using adaptive exercises that help retrain the brain to enhance vision. Clinical testing has shown improvements in mild to severe cases within 1-3 months.

Beyond amblyopia treatment, NeuraSim and QWR are developing AI and XR-based healthcare solutions aimed at early disease detection and cognitive enhancement.

Their pipeline includes Neurametry, an AI-powered eye-tracking system designed for the early detection of glaucoma and neurological diseases.

Additionally, NeuraSport XR integrates eye-tracking with cognitive training to improve athletic performance.

Another key innovation, NeuroXR, combines EEG and XR technologies to facilitate neurodegenerative screening and therapy, offering new possibilities for early intervention and personalized treatment.

With these developments, NeuraSim Health is focusing on digital therapeutics to improve early diagnosis and patient care.
