Speaking on the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Mahesh Verma, chairperson, NABH, said, "Our focus on promoting digital health initiatives in collaboration with Koita Foundation and Nathealth, on the other hand, holds the promise of revolutionising patient safety. By harnessing the power of technology, we aim to enhance the efficiency, accessibility, and accuracy of healthcare services, aligned with the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.'
The constituent board of the Quality Council in India has been actively taking steps to improve patient safety and healthcare quality.
Just a few days back, NABH signed a MoU with NATHEALTH, the Healthcare Federation of India, to reinforce patient safety, enhance the quality of healthcare services, and drive positive change in the healthcare ecosystem across the country.
Earlier, NABH granted accreditation to the AIIMS Nagpur, making it the first AIIMS in the country to ever receive this recognition by the central board. The recognition enables an institution to demonstrate its dedication to patient safety and high-quality care, resulting in the best possible clinical outcomes.
