MedySeva, a telemedicine startup co-founded by Dr. Vishesh Kasliwal and Rachita Kasliwal, emerged as the top winner of the DHN HealthTech Innovation Challenge 2024. The event, held on October 6, showcased innovative solutions addressing critical healthcare challenges in India.
MedySeva's approach focuses on bridging the healthcare gap between urban doctors and rural patients, making it easier for underserved communities to access quality medical care.
Founded in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic, MedySeva was born to provide better healthcare options for those living in rural areas. The startup operates through MedySeva Kendras, a phygital center that combines physical presence with digital services. These centers offer various healthcare services, including virtual consultations, diagnostic tests, and digitizing medical records.

MicroHeal and Marbles Health, which offer unique healthcare solutions, were the runners-up at the DHN Innovation Challenge 2024. MicroHeal focuses on clinically validated protocols to improve chronic gut conditions, while Marbles Health centers on mental health support through an AI-driven platform.
Sharing insights, Shashank Mishra, Founder of MicroHeal, said, "Participating in the DHN Healthcare Innovation Challenge 2024 was an incredible journey. Additionally, notable finalists such as Janitri and Moss.ai presented their innovations. Janitri is dedicated to maternal health monitoring, ensuring that expectant mothers receive timely care, while Moss.ai develops AI-powered clinical decision support tools to enhance healthcare delivery.
The challenge attracted over 200 startups, with 14 shortlisted for the pitch stage and 5 finalists presenting at the demo day. Karnataka's Health Minister, Dinesh Gundu Rao, commended the participants for their innovative ideas, emphasizing their potential to impact healthcare and medtech significantly. He noted that while not every idea would succeed, the ones that do could greatly enhance health outcomes and service delivery.
Vishnu Saxena, Founder and CEO of DHN, highlighted the innovative spirit of the participants, stating, “Innovation knows no boundaries. It takes courage to launch a startup. Our primary aim is to scale solutions and reduce costs, especially in India, where significant challenges remain. The ideas presented here show immense potential for transforming healthcare.”
