MedLern & SPARSH Hospitals Join Hands to Improve Staff Efficiency through Digital Solutions

Bengaluru-based medtech startup MedLern has joined forces with the SPARSH Group of Hospitals to improve staff efficiency, optimize operations, and enhance patient care outcomes through digital solutions.

Moreover, it also seeks to simplify training processes across various departments and employee roles, harnessing global and local expertise in content, trainers, and tools.

Sharing thoughts, Deepak Sharma, CEO and cofounder, MedLern said, "Our focus is on improving care outcomes by equipping staff with advanced skills. and our structured approach aims to address gaps in quality and service excellence, maximizing impact at the point of care for patients and the community."

Founded in 2020 by Sameer Shariff and Deepak Sharma, MedLern is a digital learning solution for hospitals & healthcare professionals. The startup aims to improve the quality of healthcare delivery by spreading knowledge through technology.

The platform offers a comprehensive hospital training solution, including tools and learning content, enabling nursing excellence, service excellence, and patient safety through an efficient digital platform.

The Partnership Agenda

Reportedly, MedLern will assist the hospital in maximizing ROI from its human resources by tracking training completion, coverage, compliance, and impact.

This approach, according to the hospital, will ensure consistency, better control, and substantial cost savings in measuring and reporting outcomes to leadership.

Commenting on the development, Rekha Attavar, group chief people officer, SPARSH Group of Hospitals, said, "We have always worked towards providing platforms that enable our employees to continually evolve and grow, through continuous learning. We believe that this partnership will bolster our efforts in training staff for enhancing better patient care."

Founded in 2006 by Dr Sharan Shivraj Patil, the SPARSH Group of Hospitals aims to make quality medical care more accessible to people. The hospital focuses on evidence-based medicine, patient education, skill enhancement, and leveraging advances in science and technology to deliver quality healthcare.

With 40 specialties, the hospital aims to provide comprehensive and specialized care spanning various medical disciplines through its Centers of Excellence in neurosciences, cardiac sciences, gastro sciences, renal sciences, women & childcare, head and neck surgery, trauma care, and emergency medicine, among others.

MedLern’s Recent Collaborations

Ahmedabad’s multi-specialty healthcare institution, Dr Jivraj Mehta Hospital formed a strategic alliance with MedLern, a full-stack healthcare training solution for hospitals and professionals.

Per the partnership, Dr Jivraj Mehta Hospital sought to utilize MedLern’s digital learning solutions for healthcare training to optimize operations and enhance patient care outcomes.

Last year, MedLern secured an undisclosed investment from Healthcare Quality and Research Systems (HQRS), a subsidiary of the American Heart Association, and Laerdal Medical.

This investment aims to bring evidence-based tools to healthcare training, focusing on providing high-quality training for healthcare professionals in India.
