MediBuddy has unveiled the India Health Care Collaborators (IHCC), a platform named BuddyCare, to establish a robust network aimed at strengthening cashless primary healthcare access in India.
The initiative connects insurers, healthcare providers, and intermediaries, leveraging technology to align with regulatory developments such as the Insurance Amendment Bill.
The IHCC platform integrates pre-policy issuance, real-time risk quantification, and post-policy services for insurers.
MediBuddy has developed partnerships to enhance outpatient department (OPD) care using fraud-resilient systems and intelligence-driven frameworks for risk management.
The network connects more than 100,000 doctors nationwide and employs tools such as the ‘Sherlock’ Fraud Detection System to ensure efficiency and transparency.
MediBuddy Co-founder and CEO Satish Kannan stated, “The launch of IHCC represents a pivotal milestone in our journey to redefine healthcare delivery in India. By bringing together innovation, collaboration, and a steadfast commitment to quality, we are laying the groundwork for a future where healthcare is universally accessible, cashless, and seamlessly integrated with insurance.”
IHCC also integrates life, health, and wellness insurance under a single framework. AI-driven tools enhance risk management, diagnostics, and service delivery, addressing the growing demand for streamlined healthcare.
The platform supports consultations, diagnostic services, medicine delivery, and concierge services.
