MediBuddy’s newly launched digital cards, Shield and Shield Plus, offer an all-in-one solution for users looking to streamline their healthcare management.

Bengaluru-based healthtech startup MediBuddy has introduced two new digital health cards: MediBuddy Shield and MediBuddy Shield Plus.

These cards are designed to provide a comprehensive healthcare solution, focusing on outpatient department (OPD) services.

The goal is to make healthcare more accessible and manageable for consumers across India.

About MediBuddy Shield & Shield Plus

The startup’s newly launched digital cards, MediBuddy Shield and MediBuddy Shield Plus, offer an all-in-one solution for users looking to streamline their healthcare management.

These cards provide easy access to essential OPD services, including online doctor consultations, health checkups, and dental consultations.

"These digital health cards are a comprehensive solution for individuals looking to take charge of their health in a more efficient and accessible manner. By integrating services like online consultations, checkups, and condition management, we aim to make healthcare proactive and user-friendly," a release from the startup mentioned.

Both the cards include several key healthcare services, allowing users to access multiple consultations, health checkups, and additional resources aimed at improving their overall health management.

The MediBuddy Shield card provides two online doctor consultations, which enable users to consult with general physicians from the comfort of their homes.

It also includes a MediBuddy Smart Health Checkup, offering a comprehensive overview of key health metrics and an offline dental consultation to ensure dental health is covered.

Additionally, the card offers personal accident cover of up to INR 1 Lakh, providing users with a safety net in case of unforeseen accidents. To further assist with long-term health tracking, users have access to MediBuddy’s concierge services for condition management.

Furthermore, the MediBuddy Shield Plus card offers all the benefits of the Shield card but includes additional services designed for long-term health management. These extra features include four online doctor consultations, providing more frequent healthcare monitoring.

It also comes with two health checkups, both Smart and Basic, offering a more thorough health assessment.

Moreover, the Shield Plus card includes monthly health blogs and bi-monthly webinars to keep users informed about the latest in healthcare and wellness. Users also receive exclusive discounts on condition management programs, which aim to help them manage specific health conditions more effectively.

MediBuddy’s latest offering is designed to cater to the growing demand for more accessible and proactive healthcare services. These digital health cards aim to eliminate barriers to essential healthcare services, especially for those who prefer remote consultations or have limited access to physical healthcare facilities.

MediBuddy’s cards are available from September 19, 2024.
