In a significant development, Lupin Diagnostics, a prominent player in the global pharmaceutical industry, launched a state-of-the-art regional reference laboratory in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
This move is part of Lupin Diagnostics' broader strategy to extend its diagnostic network, comprising 36 laboratories and over 600 collection centres throughout India.
The newly inaugurated regional reference laboratory is equipped with advanced diagnostic technologies and qualified clinical experts.
These services include molecular diagnostics, cytogenetics, flow cytometry, cytology, microbiology, serology, haematology, immunology, routine biochemistry, and various specialised tests.
Commenting on the same, Ravindra Kumar, CEO, Lupin Diagnostics, said, "With state-of-the-art technology and a dedicated team of experts, our goal is to redefine healthcare, making accurate diagnosis a cornerstone of well-being."
Lupin Limited, headquartered in Mumbai, is an innovation-led transnational pharmaceutical company. It develops and commercialises a wide range of branded and generic formulations, biotechnology products, and APIs across global markets. This expansion follows Lupin Diagnostics' recent launch of a regional reference laboratory in Bengaluru, Karnataka, to provide accessible and affordable diagnostics and preventive healthcare services across India.
The Bengaluru laboratory is part of Lupin Diagnostics' existing network of 25 laboratories and over 410 collection centres.
In other noteworthy developments, TRUSTlab Diagnostics, a Hyderabad-based business-to-business clinical laboratory, has significantly expanded its national footprint.
The organisation opened six new advanced laboratories strategically located in Noida, Patna, Andhra Pradesh, Bengaluru, Hanamkonda, and Karimnagar in Telangana, marking a substantial step in its expansion efforts.
