The initiative aims to provide accessible healthcare services across the region.

Leading manufacturer of IVD products, Lords Mark Industries, in collaboration with the Government of India, and the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FIIT) at IIT Delhi, has unveiled an E-Smart Clinic in Anwal Khera village, Agra, Uttar Pradesh.

This initiative is a part of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, a national program by the Government of India.

This effort, in collaboration with Unnat Bharat Abhiyan and FIIT, aims to democratize healthcare technology and innovation to provide accessible healthcare services across the region.

The E-Smart Clinic project first launched in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, received positive feedback from local communities.

Lords Mark Industries, committed to expanding this healthcare model, plans to deploy 16,000 E-Smart Clinics across India. The clinics offer testing and consultation services at a nominal cost of less than INR 1000.

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, with a presence in over 16,000 villages nationwide, is expected to play a pivotal role in promoting and implementing the E-Smart Clinic project, furthering the goal of accessible and affordable healthcare for all citizens.

What Does this E-Clinic Offer?

The E-Smart Clinic uses advanced technology, providing contactless vital monitoring, telemedicine, consultation, and point-of-care diagnostics.

It monitors various health parameters, including live vitals, biochemistry, hematology, infectious diseases, cardiac and inflammation markers, body and urine parameters, and maternity health.

Developed in partnership with technology company Dozee, it uses patented technology to detect vital parameters without external attachments. Lords Mark Industries also filed patents for the biochemistry and health kiosk, which boasts a 99% accuracy rate.

Per the company, the E-Smart Clinic can conduct blood tests in just 20 minutes and seamlessly connect rural patients with top doctors online, communicating in their local language.

Expansion Plans

Following successful trials at five initial centers, the clinic will be commercialized nationwide. There is also interest from international partners for global distribution. The market potential for the E-Smart Clinic in India exceeds INR 3000 Cr.

Established in 1998, Lord's Mark Industries (Lord's) has substantially evolved over the past two decades. Initially focusing on paper production, the company later expanded into LED technology and renewable energy before diversifying into the medical diagnostic sector.
