The E Smart Clinic, developed in collaboration with Dozee, utilizes patented technology to detect vital parameters of patients.

Lord's Mark Industries, a prominent manufacturer of In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) products, has partnered with Unnat Bharat Abhiyan. This national program, initiated by the Government of India under FITT (Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer), IIT Delhi, aims to introduce the E-Smart Clinic project.

Inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi at AIIMS Rajkot, this initiative aims to transform healthcare access in rural India. The move aligns with the government's vision of affordable and accessible medical infrastructure.

The project's inception stems from a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between Lord's Mark Industries and Unnat Bharat Abhiyan at IIT Delhi on February 22, 2024. The collaborative efforts between the two entities, under the umbrella of FITT, promise to bridge the healthcare gap in rural areas.

Vision for Inclusive Healthcare

Commenting on the initiative, Manav Teli, executive director, Lord's Mark Industries, said, "I am thrilled to witness the culmination of our collaborative efforts with Unnat Bharat Abhiyan in introducing the groundbreaking E Smart Clinic project. This initiative underscores our commitment to innovation and accessibility in healthcare, empowering individuals across rural India with cutting-edge diagnostics and expert medical consultations at unprecedented affordability. We believe this marks a significant step towards realizing our vision of inclusive and equitable healthcare for all citizens.''

The E-Smart Clinic, developed in collaboration with technology partner Dozee, utilizes patented technology to detect vital parameters of patients without any external attachments.

This portable clinic is capable of conducting blood tests in 20 minutes, connecting rural patients with top doctors online, and communicating in their local language.

Additionally, Lord's Mark Industries has filed patents for the biochemistry and the health kiosk, boasting an accuracy level of 99%.

Reportedly, this marks a global first in delivering such a portable solution to patients at a meager cost for disease detection, aligning with PM Modi's vision of affordable medical infrastructure.

Sharing thoughts, Vijendra Kumar Vijay, national coordinator, Foundation for Innovation & Technology Transfer, IIT Delhi, said, "The collaboration between Lord's Mark Industries Ltd., Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, and FIIT marks a significant leap forward in our collective mission to democratize healthcare access.

He further noted that by harnessing technology and innovation, a tangible difference in the lives of millions can be made. ‘’I foresee a transformative impact on India's medical infrastructure in the near future," he added.

Nationwide Accessibility

Following successful trials at five initial centers, the E-Smart Clinic will be commercialized across India, with international partners expressing interest in global distribution.

Lord's Mark Industries plans on making the clinic accessible nationwide, offering testing and consultation for less than INR 1000 per patient. The market potential for the E-Smart Clinic in India exceeds INR 3000 Cr, presenting additional opportunities for Lord's Mark Industries to supply consumables for various therapeutic tests.

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, with a presence in over 16,000 villages nationwide, is expected to play a pivotal role in promoting and implementing the E-Smart Clinic project, furthering the goal of accessible and affordable healthcare for all citizens.

Launching the Clinic project promises to be a significant milestone in the quest for accessible and affordable healthcare, aligning with the government's overarching vision of a healthier and more prosperous India.

The collaborative efforts between Lord's Mark Industries, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, and FITT mark a concerted step forward in democratizing healthcare access, bringing innovative solutions to the heart of rural communities, and improving the overall healthcare landscape in the country.
