Lilavati Clinic & Wellness Inaugurates New Facility in Ahmedabad

The Lilavati Hospital promoters also plan to invest INR 4,000 Cr in the next five years to open hospitals in New Delhi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Assam.

Lilavati Clinic & Wellness, a new venture by the promoters of Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital, has inaugurated a new healthcare facility in Ahmedabad.

The clinic, spread over 8,000 sq ft, is equipped with the latest medical technology and staffed by experienced healthcare professionals.

Moreover, Lilavati Clinic & Wellness is the first to set up a Dentsply dental department in Gujarat.

Prashant Mehta, promoter of Lilavati Clinic & Wellness, emphasized the clinic's mission to provide accessible, world-class healthcare services while promoting overall well-being through holistic wellness programs.

"We aim to make advanced healthcare accessible to all and look forward to serving the community by making a positive impact on their health and lives," said Mehta.

The clinic features seven well-equipped consulting rooms for various specialties. Further, advanced diagnostic services available at the clinic include electrocardiogram (ECG), echocardiogram (ECHO), stress test (TMT), advanced X-Ray, and ultrasound (USG).

Additionally, the facility offers short-stay (Daycare) and minor procedure room services, as well as preventive health check-up packages tailored to different age groups.

Expansion Plans

Promoter Mehta also shared updates on the multi-specialty Lilavati Hospital in Gujarat International Finance-tec City (GIFT City), which is on track for a full-fledged opening in August 2025. The 350-bed hospital, whose construction cost exceeds INR 500 Cr, is set to have its first phase operational by March 2025.

In addition to the Ahmedabad clinic, the promoters have ambitious plans to expand their healthcare network. Over the next five years, they plan to invest INR 4,000 Cr to open five hospitals in various cities, including New Delhi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Assam.

Founded in 1978, Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre is a private hospital in Mumbai. Today, it has 323 beds, 12 operation theaters with advanced facilities, over 300 consultants, and a workforce of nearly 1,800 employees.

In September last year, promoters of the Lilavati Hospital unveiled Lilavati Pharmacy in Ahmedabad to establish a chain of Lilavati Pharmacy stores across the country.

The Lilavati Pharmacy project is designed to create high-quality, luxurious pharmacies that offer a wide range of medicines and surgical and medical equipment. Over the next five years, 500 more pharmacy stores will be launched across the country under this project.
