Lifechart focuses on addressing gut health issues in smaller and underserved regions.
Gurugram-based startup Lifechart has secured $500K in funding to scale its AI-powered gut wellness solutions, aiming to expand its reach into Tier II, III, and IV cities across India.
The funds were raised in two parts. $250K from Prajay Advisors LLP, with Mumbai-based Cignas from NA Shah Advisors LLP serving as the transaction advisors, and an additional $250K from investors such as Agility Ventures, Expert Dojo, and angel investors Ahana Gautam, Nitish Mittersain (Founder of Nazara Technologies Pvt. Ltd.), Sarath Sura (Founder of Sunn91 Ventures), and Marwari Angels.
"With this new capital, we will enhance our AI capabilities, launch our proprietary diagnostic solutions, and build a new brand targeting Tier 1 cities," said Mukul Shah, CEO and Co-founder of Lifechart.
Alongside its operational expansion, Lifechart is developing India’s first plant-based microbiome-focused products for Tier 1 cities. These products will offer natural solutions for gut health, with formulations designed by BAMS doctors to support holistic wellness.
Its proprietary AI engine is central to Lifechart’s strategy, which helps predict the geographical rise of gut-related diseases. By analyzing demographic factors and regional health patterns, the AI enables the startup to fine-tune its service offerings, delivering more targeted and efficient care.
In addition to leveraging AI to predict health trends, Lifechart will launch do-it-yourself (DIY) gut health diagnostic kits. These kits will allow users to test their gut health from the comfort of their homes. The process will include personalized recommendations based on AI-powered insights and consultations with Lifechart's team of experts. The DIY kits are expected to be a major step towards making gut health diagnostics more accessible to the general public.
Lifechart’s CEO, Mukul Shah, said, “This capital will allow us to expand into underserved regions and strengthen our diagnostic offerings significantly. We are committed to providing AI-driven, holistic gut health solutions.”
The funds raised will primarily go towards enhancing the company’s AI tools, launching its diagnostic solutions, and creating products designed specifically for India’s larger metropolitan areas.
By targeting both underserved regions and urban centers, Lifechart aims to cater to a wide range of consumers seeking comprehensive gut health solutions.
With its combination of expert doctors, AI insights, and at-home diagnostic options, Lifechart is positioning itself to play a key role in improving gut health management in India.
