LeotechnoSoft (LTS), a company with offices in Chicago and Pune, has launched a suite of digital healthcare products aimed at improving patient care and data security in India.
The products were unveiled at the Med Technovate event in Pune, conducted in association with HospitalTech, a group of hospital IT and automation professionals.
CIOs and HealthIT professionals from top hospitals in Mumbai, and Pune were present at the event that focused on digital transformation in Indian healthcare through IoT, AI and Cybersecurity.
These products include the Bot4MED, a remote patient monitoring device, and the VSocBox, a cybersecurity platform designed to protect healthcare data.
The Bot4MED is an AI-powered device designed for remote patient monitoring.
This 12-in-1 diagnostic kit allows healthcare providers to conduct comprehensive examinations on patients irrespective of their location.
The device captures vitals including temperature, heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), ECG, and blood pressure with a 6-hour battery life.
It also integrates a digital stethoscope and otoscope for examining the heart, lungs, ears, and throat.
Satyen Jain, CEO and Technical Director at LTS said, “The device is aimed at aiding video consultation by providing real-time data to healthcare providers.”
As per Jain, the app associated with the device provides a list of doctors. The patients can select the healthcare provider, pay consultancy fees and connect with doctors through video.
The internet-enabled device can also generate prescriptions. The data collected is uploaded on the cloud which both patients and doctors can see.
Bot4MED also provides AI-enabled data analytics for age, gender and population-wise analysis for population health management, the company said.
The VSocBox platform is designed to address cyber security concerns in the healthcare industry.
This multi-layered platform leverages artificial intelligence (AI) to provide comprehensive protection against cyber threats.
The platform helps healthcare organizations comply with Indian regulations regarding data security including DISHA (Digital Information Security in Healthcare Act).
As peer LTS, the platform detects malware, ransomware, and other threats and uses AI to identify and respond to cyberattacks in real-time
It also protects cloud-based data and identifies potential vulnerabilities by preventing accidental or intentional data leaks.
“One of the key offerings of the platform is optional cyber insurance coverage tailored to an organization's specific needs which is the first of a kind in India,” said Samir Patani, Head of Partner Alliances, LTS Secure.
Patani highlighted the cost-effectiveness of VSocBox, stating it can replace five separate cybersecurity programs, reducing installation and maintenance burdens for healthcare organizations.
Girish Koppar, CIO, of Wockhardt Hospital and President, of HospitalTech congratulated the organizers and said, “Very informative and interactive sessions on IOT, AI and Cybersecurity topics. Thanks to Satyen Jain, RinTchen and the team. Such collaborations fulfill HospitalTech's goal to enhance technological knowhow, capability, maturity of skills and competencies among healthcare professionals."
