Both these platforms will offer combined health and wellness services tailored for senior citizens. This collaboration involves organising workshops and informative sessions to promote the health, well-being, and active lifestyles of seniors.
India's senior citizen app, Khyaal, has strategically collaborated with Tata 1mg, a prominent digital healthcare platform. This partnership aims to enhance the quality of life for senior citizens throughout India.
Under this mutually beneficial alliance, Khyaal and Tata 1mg will work together to provide integrated health and wellness services specifically designed for the senior citizen community. This entails the development and delivery of workshops and informative sessions aimed at promoting health, well-being, and an active lifestyle among seniors.
Further, this collaboration will also offer safe, affordable, and convenient access to essential medications and diagnostic tests. Senior citizens can now independently access these services from the comfort of their homes through the on-demand assistance feature on the Khyaal app.
This feature ensures that seniors receive their prescribed medicines and benefit from home sample collection for diagnostic tests promptly and without unnecessary hassle.
Hemanshu Jain, CEO of Khyaal, said, "This collaboration aligns perfectly with our mission of enhancing the lives of our seniors through technology-led solutions."
In another recent development, Tata 1mg partnered with Kenko Health, a health financing startup based in Mumbai. The partnership capitalises on Tata 1 mg's expansive supply chain that would help Kenko Health expand its reach and cater to its clientele by offering an extensive array of essential medical products, wellness items, and state-of-the-art healthcare devices from Shoho '“ The Kenko Store.
Situated in Gurugram, India, Tata 1mg, formerly known as 1mg, operates as a healthcare platform offering an array of services such as e-pharmacy, diagnostics, virtual consultations, and health-related content. The company's inception took place in April 2015, a venture initiated by Prashant Tandon, Gaurav Agarwal, and Vikas Chauhan.
Founded in 2020 by Hemanshu Jain, Alok Soni, and Pritish Nelleri, Khyaal, on the other hand, is a subscription-based service designed to provide caregiving support and manage the lives of senior citizens who may be living alone or away from their children.
Khyaal offers comprehensive care across six major categories, including emotional support, essential services, nutrition, digital literacy, insurance guidance, and medical assistance. Operating from its headquarters in Mumbai, the platform is dedicated to simplifying elder care to facilitate a positive and healthy ageing experience for senior citizens.
