Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah launched 65 hi-tech ambulances on September 23, aimed at enhancing emergency response for accident victims across the state.

"The hi-tech ambulances will help in rushing accident victims to hospitals within the golden hour. It is possible to save hundreds of lives if emergency care is made available," said CM Siddaramaiah during the launch event.
These ambulances are part of the Chief Minister’s Trauma Care Services initiative, designed to improve trauma care and emergency medical services.
In his address, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah emphasized the significance of adhering to traffic rules to prevent accidents.
He specifically called for a cessation of drunk driving, stating, "Don’t let down your families. Will there be no accidents if one drives vehicles while speaking on the phone? You are responsible for your life and responsible for your families. Follow traffic rules strictly."
Siddaramaiah also urged Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy to implement strict actions against individuals involved in drunk driving, including the cancellation of licenses.
Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dinesh Gundu Rao attended the launch event, further underscoring the importance of the initiative.
Recently, Pinnacle Industries launched its latest emergency medical vehicle, the AD-Gen Ambulance, to elevate the standards of medical transportation in India. Per the company, this vehicle can be built and converted on various platforms, making it versatile and accessible.
In June this year, leading hospital Gleneagles BGS Hospital introduced ambulance service in partnership with Medulance. The first phase of the rollout includes five ambulances equipped with 5G technology to serve the areas immediately surrounding the hospital.
This new initiative aims to transform emergency medical response through enhanced technology and provide superior patient care.
