Karma Primary Healthcare, a startup based in Udaipur, has successfully raised Series A equity funding from a consortium of investors. The funding round was led by Innospark Ventures, with participation from 1Crowd, Innovative Directions, Aanshi LLP, Social Innovation Circle, Sunil Mishra, and other prominent angel investors. Additionally, the company has received support from Grand Challenges Canada (GCC) through its Transition to Scale program, which is funded in part by Global Affairs Canada.
Over eight years, the company has developed a robust and comprehensive primary healthcare delivery solution. This solution enables real-time online video consultations and facilitates healthcare delivery through its facility-based, paramedic-assisted clinics. These clinics provide a wide range of clinical treatments, quality medicines, and diagnostic services. Karma also collaborates with public health organizations to implement disease-specific programs such as COVID-19 and diabetes.
Jagdeep Gambhir, the Founder & CEO of Karma Primary Healthcare, discussed company expansion plans. They aim to increase their clinic footprint to 80 clinics across seven states. Additionally, they seek to establish partnerships with secondary and tertiary healthcare providers to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Karma Primary Healthcare's recent funding and support will enable them to further enhance their healthcare delivery system, expand their presence, and continue their efforts in leveraging digital technology to improve access to quality healthcare services.
