Innovaccer, a healthcare data and analytics company, has partnered with P3 Health Partners, a population health management firm, to enhance value-based care through advanced data insights and AI technology.

The collaboration aims to provide healthcare providers with deeper insights into patients' clinical and financial outcomes, thereby improving care delivery.

Further, by utilizing Innovaccer's AI-driven platform, P3 Health Partners seeks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare delivery.

Started in 2014, Innovaccer is a healthcare data activation company founded by Abhinav Shashank and Kanav Hasija, headquartered in Bengaluru and San Francisco. The company assists healthcare providers by digitizing patient data records and providing analytical services.

Partnership Goals

P3 Health Partners, which supports over 2,900 providers across five US states, will leverage Innovaccer’s Healthcare AI Platform.

This platform includes InNote, a tool for providing insights at the point of care, a population health analytics suite, and a patient engagement solution.

P3’s services are concentrated in Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, and Oregon, focusing on Medicare Advantage patients. Further, the partnership is expected to help P3 Health Partners streamline administrative tasks, allowing providers to focus more on patient care.

Commenting on the partnership, Aric Coffman, CEO of P3 Health Partners, said, “Through the Innovaccer Healthcare AI Platform, we will further reduce time spent on administrative tasks for our providers, enhance our data integration and analytics to serve our payer partners better, improve the quality of the care patients receive, and better manage costs across the continuum of care."

Innovaccer's Role & Impact

Innovaccer’s platform is designed to integrate health records across various payers, plans, and organizations, providing a comprehensive view of patient data. This integration helps reduce the time providers spend on administrative tasks, thereby improving the overall quality of care.

Through its analytics capabilities and intelligent applications, Innovaccer currently serves 96,000 individuals across payers, providers, and life sciences companies.

On the collaboration, Abhinav Shashank, cofounder, and CEO of Innovaccer, said, "P3’s patient support team provides tools and resources that prevent and manage illness, empowering patients to take steps to improve their own health. With Innovaccer’s Healthcare AI Platform, P3 can free its providers from time-consuming administrative tasks and focus on providing exceptional care to patients and communities. We’re thrilled to partner with P3 to elevate the patient and provider experience."

The AI platform's ability to consolidate health records from different sources will provide a holistic view of patients, enabling better decision-making and improved patient outcomes.

P3 Health Partners reported a 29% year-over-year increase in total and gross revenue in Q1 2024, indicating the growing impact of its healthcare services. This collaboration with Innovaccer is expected to drive further its mission of optimizing healthcare delivery and improving patient engagement.
