Following its recent $275 million Series F funding round, Innovaccer is launching AI-powered Agents of Care to optimize healthcare administration.
The funding round included participation from B Capital Group, Banner Health, Danaher Ventures, Generation IM, Kaiser Permanente, and M12.
With these AI-driven solutions, Innovaccer aims to improve workflow efficiency for healthcare professionals, including clinicians, care managers, risk coders, patient navigators, and call center agents.
These AI agents are designed to perform complex administrative tasks seamlessly within existing healthcare workflows.
Their functions include automating appointment scheduling, facilitating patient intake, managing referrals, accelerating prior authorization, identifying care gaps, ensuring clinical documentation accuracy, and providing multilingual 24/7 patient support.
These agents enhance patient engagement and streamline operations by integrating with over 80 electronic health records (EHRs).
Built on Innovaccer’s Data Activation Platform, these AI-powered agents provide a 360° view of patient data by consolidating clinical and claims information.
This integration allows for more precise scheduling, follow-ups, and care coordination, ultimately reducing redundancies and administrative errors. The AI solution is designed to operate continuously, ensuring a seamless experience for both healthcare providers and patients.
Security remains a priority, with Agents of Care adhering to industry-leading compliance standards such as NIST CSF, HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2 Type II, and ISO 27001.
These measures ensure that healthcare organizations can trust the platform to handle sensitive patient information securely.
Currently serving six of the top 10 health systems in the US, Innovaccer is expanding its AI solutions beyond healthcare providers to include payers, pharmacies, life sciences, and government organizations.
By offering a unified, AI-driven approach, the company aims to become a key partner for organizations looking to scale AI capabilities in healthcare.
“Healthcare needs more than fragmented point solutions. It requires an intelligent, unified orchestration of AI,” said Abhinav Shashank, Co-founder and CEO of Innovaccer.
“With Agents of Care, AI is redefining efficiency in healthcare, allowing care teams to focus on what matters most—their patients.”
