As part of this partnership, Telerad Foundation has provided IGICH with RADSpa, an AI-enabled radiology workflow platform, along with essential technical support and software maintenance for five years.
Telerad Foundation, the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of the Telerad Group, a remote radiology services provider, has joined hands with the Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health (IGICH) to bolster paediatric radiology services.
This collaboration aims to elevate healthcare standards for young patients, aligning with IGICH's dedication to paediatric care.
As part of this partnership, Telerad Foundation has provided IGICH with RADSpa, an AI-enabled radiology workflow platform, along with essential technical support and software maintenance for five years.
Sharing thoughts on the same, Dr Sunita Maheshwari, cofounder and chief dreamer of Telerad Group, said, "Telerad Foundation's contribution to IGICH is about shaping a sustainable future for paediatric radiology. We are strengthening the institution by providing the PACS and RIS solution and offering training and technical support."
Telerad Foundation's support extends beyond introducing technology; it involves supplying crucial hardware, including servers, monitors, workstations, and laptops, to equip IGICH's Pediatric Radiology department.
RADSpa's implementation at IGICH promises several benefits. It enables swift access to comprehensive imaging records, leading to quicker diagnosis. This technology fosters efficient collaboration among radiologists, potentially increasing efficiency by 30-50% and reducing patient waiting times. Furthermore, RADSpa ensures the security and confidentiality of patient data for various medical imaging functions.
Commenting on the same, Dr Sanjay KS, professor and director at IGICH, said, "As we embrace advanced technologies like Telerad Group’s AI-driven RADSpa, our mission remains steadfast: to deliver world-class healthcare."
Founded in 2002 by two Yale University-trained physicians, Teleradiology Solutions (TRS), based in Bengaluru, earned KLAS recognition as the top National Teleradiology company in the United States in 2011.
