India’s First Dedicated Digital Health News Media Platform ‘DHN’ gets Officially Unveiled

Digital Health News (DHN) has officially launched its dedicated news platform digitalhealthnews.com. The ceremony witnessed the presence of eminent industry experts from different fields including hospitals, startups, healthtech innovators, healthcare associations, government representatives and more.

India witnessed the official grand launch of Digital Health News (DHN), India’s first dedicated digital health news platform at The Leela Palace, New Delhi, on 18th of October.

Additionally, the pioneering news platform formed a partnership with CHIME India, a part of a global professional organisation dedicated to digital healthcare leaders, CHIME International.

This partnership aims to enhance the country's digital health ecosystem while offering the public with trustworthy and accurate information and insights.

Further, a fireside chat session was conducted, which saw the participation of prominent industry figures, including Kumar KV, Group-CIO at Narayana Health & Board Member, CHIME India, and JP Dwivedi, CIO at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital along with DHN founder & CEO, Vishnu Saxena. The panel discussion was moderated by Girish Koppar, Gr CIO, Wockhardt Hospitals & Board Member, CHIME India.

The discussion centred around the current healthcare landscape in India, drawing comparisons to the US and exploring promising prospects for the future.

In the session, Kumar KV, talked about its revolutionary app that recorded over one million downloads. Furthermore, he shared how it's helping them get many patient issues resolved.

Commenting on the importance of a platform like Digital Health News, Girish Kulkarni, Chairperson for CHIME India, stressed that both, CHIME India & DHN team shall work together to strengthen this relationship. He welcomed the launch of the platform, the first of its kind to have been launched in India and outlined the joint engagement between both the organizations to deliver engaging, insightful content on the DHN platform.

Founded in 2023, DHN is India’s first digital health news platform that offers health tech news, insights, trends, and policies. It aims to empower and connect healthcare stakeholders in India and abroad with deep insight relating to the digital health landscape.
