Global technology player, Impelsys has launched an advanced medical device testing lab in Mangalore for enhanced diagnostics, patient care, and overall healthcare safety.
This new testing facility is part of Impelsys' extensive range of solutions and services, including data and analytics, AI-powered platforms, cloud services, and learning solutions.

Elaborating further, Vincent highlighted the transformative potential of the facility, stating that it aligns with the broader vision of advancing healthcare practices through advanced technologies and innovative solutions.
Moreover, this strategic move seeks to make Mangalore a healthcare and medical hub in the region that has the potential to grow multifolds like Bengaluru. Further, it will also open employment opportunities for people around the city and young engineering and hospital management graduates.

Recently, India recorded a $464 million surge in MedTech FDI in the first three quarters according to the Medical Technology Association of India (MTaI). The MedTech foreign direct investment (FDI) trajectory in 2023 began with $39 million in Q1 (Jan-Mar), surged to $301 million in Q2 (Apr-Jun), and saw an inflow of $124 million in Q3 (Jul-Sep).
