Hyderabad’s Ankura Hospital to Open Centres in Underserved Areas Across India

Ankura Hospital for Women and Children, based in Hyderabad, has announced a significant expansion to improve healthcare access for women and children across India.

Dr Krishna Prasad Vunnam, founder and managing director of Ankura Hospital, revealed that the hospital has launched its 15th center in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. 

This new facility marks Ankura’s first step into Odisha as part of its broader national expansion strategy. 

“We are thrilled to announce the opening of our 15th world-class center in Bhubaneswar, marking our first step into Odisha. This is just the beginning of our mission to establish Ankura in many more locations across the country in the coming years. Our vision is to provide exceptional care to women and children no matter where they are, ensuring healthcare is accessible to all,” Dr Vunnam shared.

The hospital plans to establish more centers over the next 30 months, expanding its services to areas with limited healthcare infrastructure.

Funding the Expansion

Ankura Hospital has outlined a financial plan to support this expansion, focusing on debt financing and private equity. The funding will support the development of new healthcare centers and the expansion of services. 

“We are committed to financial sustainability in our growth. By leveraging these funding opportunities, Ankura will continue to provide cutting-edge healthcare services while maintaining operational efficiency,” Dr Vunnam said.

Furthermore, the hospital aims to use these funds to strengthen its infrastructure and enhance service delivery across all locations.
