This program connects Apollo Spectra's ICU facility with the Apollo Hyderabad Command Centre, empowering healthcare providers to deliver expert medical attention regardless of location.
Hyderabad-based HealthNet Global (HNG), a healthtech company, has unveiled the Tele-ICU program at Apollo Spectra Hospitals in Chirag Enclave, New Delhi, marking an advancement in critical care services.
This program connects Apollo Spectra's ICU facility with the Apollo Hyderabad Command Centre, empowering healthcare providers to deliver expert medical attention regardless of location.
The primary objective of this launch is to enhance critical care by bridging geographical gaps ensuring uninterrupted, top-quality medical care for a broader demographic.
Highlighting the program’s importance, Vikram Thaploo, CEO of HealthNet Global, said, "We are thrilled to introduce Tele-ICU in Apollo Spectra, an important step in advancing critical care. This state-of-the-art solution brings expert medical attention directly to patients, transcending physical boundaries."
HealthNet Global, based in Hyderabad, is a healthtech company, specialising in integrated telemedicine solutions and care platforms.
The company combines healthcare services, ICT, medical equipment, and patient information systems to provide condition management and rural health connect programs. Patients remain in virtual contact with consulting doctors throughout the year through their connected platforms and solutions.
In partnership with Apollo Telemedicine Networking Foundation, the company extends its services to 350,000 common service centres, providing telemedicine access to over 300 million people in India.
In a previous development, HealthNet Global established an e-ICU at Little Stars & She Women and Children Hospital, ensuring high-quality care through seamless connectivity and real-time data access.
This technology allows intensivists to provide remote care, ensuring timely interventions and improved patient outcomes.
In a similar context, in September, Apollo Telehealth joined hands with NTPC to introduce TeleEmergency and TeleICU Services across nine NTPC Plants.
The TeleEmergency service plays a vital role during critical situations. In cases of emergencies, a team of well-trained paramedics connects NTPC employees with experienced emergency physicians from Apollo Hospitals in Chennai, Kolkata, or Delhi in just five minutes.
