Patient App aims to offer a hassle-free connection between doctors and patients, offering a comprehensive solution for patients to proactively manage their health.

Bengaluru-based HealthPlix Technologies, a digital health platform, has launched its Patient App, aiming to redefine the doctor-patient relationship and enhance healthcare management.

The newly launched Patient App aims to offer hassle-free connection between doctors and patients, so that patients proactively manage their health.

Sharing thoughts, Chaitanya Raju, executive director, HealthPlix Technologies, said, "The App further empowers doctors in their journey to digitize their practice and improve health outcomes. The App is built with world-class security. We will continue to build more capabilities this year based on valuable feedback from doctors and patients."

The initiative aligns with the startup’s objective to contribute to digitising medical practices and make a positive impact on health outcomes. Briefly, the Patient App claims to benefit patients in: Doctor-patient connectivity, digitised medical records, real-time health monitoring and efficient doctor appointment facility.

HealthPlix’s Recent Initiatives

In earlier developments, HealthPlix introduced an offline version of its Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, catering to doctors facing connectivity challenges. The hybrid EMR system seamlessly transitions between online and offline modes, ensuring uninterrupted access to patient data. It not only addresses connectivity issues in remote areas but also offers a 48% improvement in speed compared to previous versions.

In June last year, HealthPlix Technologies secured $22 million in its Series C funding led by Avataar Venture Partners.  SIG Venture Capital and existing investors such as Lightspeed Venture Partners, JSW Ventures, Kalaari Capital, and Chiratae Ventures also were part of the funding round.

Healthtech as a Tool to Fulfil Healthcare Delivery

The launch of the Patient App came at a time when technology advancements in healthcare have been transforming patient care and doctor-patient interactions. For example, Gurugram-based healthtech startups, Pristyn Care, has introduced an AI and ML-enabled EMR system tailored for surgeons. The platform utilises advanced predictive analytics to offer valuable patient insights, aiding doctors in identifying high-risk patients more effectively. This aligns with the broader industry trend of leveraging technology for improved patient outcomes and streamlined medical practices.

Pristyn Care's EMR system provides an easy-to-use interface for doctors, streamlining the prescription process and saving valuable time. The AI and ML capabilities enable smart recommendations for filling medical reports across various medical specialties, enhancing the overall efficiency of medical practices.
