Lucknow-based health tech startup, DocPlix, has successfully raised Rs 5 crore in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Eris Lifesciences, with participation from other angel investors. This follows a Seed Round in February 2022, where the company raised Rs 1.2 crore with angel investors.
Established in 2021, DocPlix is dedicated to building an ecosystem that enables seamless data exchange between doctors and patients. Additionally, the startup provides technology products for clinics and hospitals, enhancing the overall visitor experience for patients. One of its flagship offerings is DocPlix Rx, a robust electronic medical records system designed for clinics and hospitals. This system empowers doctors to grow their practice and deliver intelligent patient care.
With over 2,000 doctors already on board, including specialists in fields such as endocrinology, cardiovascular surgery, dermatology, oncology, and dentistry, DocPlix aims to further expand its network. The company plans to onboard an additional 5,000 doctors within 10 months through its speech-to-text electronic health records (EHR) system. Moreover, they aim to sell 5,000 licenses of their medical algorithm-based chatbot, Panini.
DocPlix has set ambitious goals to serve more than 3,000 patients within 12 months. This is done leveraging their innovative solutions and expanding healthcare network. By facilitating efficient data exchange and equipping healthcare providers with advanced technology tools, DocPlix aims to improve patient care and enhance overall healthcare delivery.
The recent funding round led by Eris Lifesciences signifies investors' confidence in DocPlix's potential to revolutionize healthcare operations. The startup's dedication to advancing technology solutions in the healthcare sector, along with its focus on improving patient experiences and empowering doctors, positions it as a key player in the evolving health tech landscape in India.
