This investment is part of a larger $1.5 million round, which also includes contributions from Rainmatter by Zerodha, The Chennai Angels, and BITS BioCyTiH Foundation, among other investors.
The funds will be used by Ai Health Highway to strengthen its presence in India, fast-track international regulatory approvals, and enhance its AI and ML-driven solutions in the cardio-respiratory space.
With the new funding, Ai Health Highway aims to accelerate its efforts to bring affordable, AI-driven healthcare solutions to a global audience while expanding its impact in the cardio-respiratory domain.
Founded in 2018 by Dr Satish Jeevannavar and Dr Radhakrishna Jamadagni, Ai Health Highway is an AI-first company focused on making the screening of chronic diseases cost-effective at primary care clinics.
The primary aim of Ai Health Highway is to reduce global premature deaths from non-communicable diseases (NCDs) by 30% by 2030. The startup aim to achieve this by providing tech-enabled screening tools, such as their AI-enabled stethoscope, AiSteth, which assists in the early detection of cardiac and respiratory disorders.
The company’s flagship product, the AI-enabled stethoscope AiSteth, is designed to help healthcare professionals and non-specialists interpret heart sounds, aiding in the early diagnosis of life-threatening cardiac conditions. The AI stethoscope integrates into existing medical workflows, offering primary care providers the ability to capture, analyze, and share heart sound data. This innovation is expected to improve the accessibility and affordability of cardiac healthcare solutions.
