HealthPlix Technologies has announced a new integration with Google to simplify healthcare access across India, allowing patients to book appointments directly with doctors through Google platforms.
This feature applies to doctors using HealthPlix’s AI-powered electronic medical records (EMR) software and affiliated with clinics that maintain a Google business profile.
Designed to enhance patient convenience and streamline clinic operations, the integration aims to create a frictionless experience for both doctors and patients.
By directly linking Google’s wide reach with HealthPlix’s EMR system, appointments booked via Google are unified into the existing workflow of the clinic, reducing administrative burden and improving appointment flow management.
With over 14,000 doctors currently using HealthPlix EMR software across the country, the integration reflects the growing demand for digital healthcare solutions, especially as India’s internet usage surpasses 560 million people.
HealthPlix and Google’s collaboration provides a faster, more user-friendly pathway for patients seeking healthcare services, while also allowing clinics to concentrate on other critical areas of patient care.
Sharing thoughts, Chaitanya Raju, Executive Director and Chief Product Officer at HealthPlix, said, “This integration not only provides a simplified experience for patients booking appointments but also enhances the workflow efficiency for doctors. With HealthPlix’s mission to digitize healthcare, this is another step toward improving patient outcomes and ensuring clinics run smoother operations."
"Our partnership with Google is a game-changer for healthcare access in India. By leveraging Google’s wide-reaching platform, we are enabling clinics to connect with their patients more efficiently. The seamless integration with our EMR system ensures that clinics experience no disruptions while improving their operational flow."
This year, the Bengaluru-based startup launched its Patient App, aiming to redefine the doctor-patient relationship and enhance healthcare management. The newly launched Patient App aims to offer hassle-free connections between doctors and patients so that patients proactively manage their health.
Earlier, HealthPlix introduced an offline version of its EMR system, catering to doctors facing connectivity challenges. The hybrid EMR system seamlessly transitions between online and offline modes, ensuring uninterrupted access to patient data. It not only addresses connectivity issues in remote areas but also offers a 48% improvement in speed compared to previous versions.
Additionally, in June last year, HealthPlix Technologies secured $22 million in its Series C funding led by Avataar Venture Partners. SIG Venture Capital and existing investors such as Lightspeed Venture Partners, JSW Ventures, Kalaari Capital, and Chiratae Ventures also were part of the funding round.
