Former BharatPe executive Ankur Jain is all set to venture into the healthtech sector with an AI startup–Jivi.
According to a report published in Entrackr, Jain who was chief product officer at BharatPe left the fintech company in July last year after serving for more than three years.
His new startup Jivi.ai is currently in the development phase but is expected to be launched for the public this month.
The startup’s website says it has an interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, data scientists, engineers, designers, and research scholars from Stanford, MIT, Harvard, and Yale as part of the founding team of Jivi.
The startup will focus on the transformation of the primary healthcare system in India and will take the help of AI, digital health, large language models, machine learning, and generative AI.
In the last three months, Jivi has already partnered with over 100 doctors, physicians, and hospitals in India, the report said.
Previously, Ankur Jain had cofounded a travel tech startup Instalocate. Jivi.ai will be Jain’s second venture.
Reportedly, the startup has already closed seed funding and is looking to close the next round of fund infusion soon.
As per its website, Jivi aims to transform healthcare with the use of AI. Its LinkedIn page details show that the startup is based in Gurugram and currently has 11-50 employees.
Recently, BharatPe cofounder Ashneer Grover also ventured into healthcare payment with his new startup ZeroPe, his second startup under his new company Third Unicorn.
The healthcare billing app aims to facilitate medical loans of up to INR 5 Lakh for users’ medical needs.
It has listed Delhi-based Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) Mukut Finvest as its lending partner. Currently, the service can only be availed at partnered hospitals.
