Aster DM Healthcare has appointed Santhosh K as the new Head of Information Technology, effective from September 2024.
With over two decades of experience in healthcare IT management, Santhosh brings a wealth of expertise from his leadership roles across various prestigious healthcare institutions in India.
In his new role, Santhosh aims to leverage advanced technology to enhance patient care along with streamlining operations at Aster DM.
Before joining Aster DM Healthcare, Santhosh served as the Head of IT at Jehangir Hospital, Pune, where he played a crucial role in upgrading the hospital's IT infrastructure.
His previous roles also include stints at BR Life, Rainbow Children's Hospitals, Sakra World Hospital, and Fortis Healthcare. Santhosh has been instrumental in implementing enterprise-wide digital transformation strategies, streamlining IT operations, and ensuring the alignment of technology with healthcare delivery.

With his extensive background in IT infrastructure and innovation, Santhosh's appointment is expected to strengthen Aster DM Healthcare’s digital transformation efforts, further enhancing patient care and operational efficiency across its facilities.
In August, Aster DM Healthcare announced the official launch of its Tele-ICU services under the Aster Connected Care division.
This Tele-ICU service leverages advanced technology to provide comprehensive support to healthcare providers, particularly in remote and underserved areas, significantly enhancing the quality of patient care across the country.
The Aster Connected Care Tele-ICU services are designed to offer critical care support through access to expert intensivists and continuous ICU monitoring by qualified critical care staff.
