This collaboration aims to integrate Garmin’s wearable technology with Hint, Clearcals’ nutrition app, to enhance health and fitness tracking for users.
Clearcals, a Hyderabad-based digital health startup, has announced a strategic partnership with Garmin India and AMIT GPS & Navigation LLP.
This collaboration aims to integrate Garmin’s wearable technology with Hint, Clearcals’ nutrition app, to enhance health and fitness tracking for users.
Hint, launched in 2021, is one of India’s top-rated calorie counter apps. It offers a range of features, including personalized diet plans, expert consultations, and health management support for conditions like diabetes, PCOD, hypertension, and hypothyroidism.
The app allows users to monitor their vitamin and mineral intake, aligned with NIN-ICMR’s updated Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDA).
This partnership will connect Garmin’s wearables with Hint’s intelligent nutrition platform.
According to the company, Garmin’s devices deliver highly accurate data and offer users real-time tracking of workouts, heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), VO2 max, and stress levels.
Dr Krishna Athmakuri, Co-Founder and CEO of Clearcals, said, “Our partnership with Garmin and AMIT GPS & Navigation LLP is an important step in bringing advanced technology and expert-backed nutrition support to Indian consumers. The Garmin x Hint integration will be rolled out in phases. In the first phase, users can sync their Garmin watches with the Hint app to track workouts and calorie expenditure. In the second phase, key Garmin metrics like sleep data, HRV, body battery, VO2 max, and stress levels will be integrated into the Hint Expert app, allowing dietitians to provide more personalized health insights and recommendations.”
As part of the partnership benefits, customers purchasing select Garmin watches from the Clearcals Store will receive a complimentary one-month Hint Premium subscription.
Clearcals is a digital health company headquartered in Hyderabad committed to improving how Indians track their nutrition and fitness.
In 2023, the company also launched Hint Expert, a web platform built to support clinical dietitians across India.
Last year, Garmin partnered with Apollo HealthAxis, a subsidiary of Apollo Hospitals, to offer a new range of health monitoring services in India.
This collaboration aimed to provide users with advanced health tracking and personalized wellness solutions through Garmin's fitness trackers paired with Apollo’s healthcare expertise.
