Under the terms of the new contract, Cloud DX is set to deploy its advanced Connected Health™ RPM platform to address three pivotal healthcare priorities: primary care, home care, and rehabilitation within Prince Edward Island.
Canada-based Cloud DX, a leading provider of virtual care and remote patient monitoring platforms, has inked a new deal with Health PEI, the Provincial Health Authority for Prince Edward Island. This announcement comes as part of Cloud DX's strategic expansion, following the Mohawk Medbuy (MMC) Master Agreement unveiled on June 21, 2023.
Under the terms of the new contract, Cloud DX is set to deploy its advanced Connected Health™ RPM platform to address three pivotal healthcare priorities: primary care, home care, and rehabilitation within Prince Edward Island.
This marks the second contract confirmed through MMC, further solidifying Cloud DX's position as the exclusive vendor for remote patient monitoring services under four provincial-level agreements. Previous collaborations include Alberta Health Services, Alberta Primary Care Network (PCN), Yukon Health, and now, Health PEI.
The three-year contract, with provisions for up to two extensions of two years each, carries an impressive overall value of $1,340,000 CAD. This underscores Cloud DX's dedication to advancing healthcare solutions and fostering innovation across the nation.
In a strategic move, Cloud DX Connected Health RPM will replace a previous vendor, heralding improved care for up to 300 new patients annually. The estimated cost for delivering the Connected Health Kits and remote care monitoring services over the contract's full term is approximately $295,000 CAD.
Andrew MacDougall, executive director, Community Health and Seniors Care, Health PEI, emphasised the user-friendly features of the Cloud DX Connected Health platform.
He praised its intuitive nature and highlighted specific features that differentiate the solution, including Cloud DX's robust support for ease of deployment, patient onboarding, compliance with care instructions, and patient technical support. MacDougall anticipates that these services will significantly enhance the efficiency of healthcare delivery throughout the province.
Cloud DX, CEO and founder, Robert Kaul, expressed enthusiasm about welcoming Prince Edward Island to their roster of Provincial & Territorial Health Authority customers.
