Boehringer Ingelheim and Veeva Systems have announced the launch of the One Medicine Platform, powered by the successful implementation of Veeva Development Cloud.

The collaboration, first announced in March 2022, aims to integrate data and processes across clinical, regulatory, and quality functions, enhancing drug development efficiency and improving collaboration with research sites.

The One Medicine Platform enables Boehringer to connect data across functions, streamline clinical trial processes, and accelerate the delivery of new treatments for diseases with high unmet medical needs.

By using Veeva Development Cloud as the platform’s foundation, Boehringer can improve trial efficiency and enhance regulatory compliance.

Oliver Fink, head of learning, process, and digitalization at Boehringer Ingelheim, stated that the collaboration with Veeva strengthens the company’s ability to conduct clinical trials more efficiently.
